Body Mass Index (BMI) can be used to
indicate if you are overweight, obese,
underweight or normal. The score will help
you decide if you need to lose weight or in
some instances, gain weight.
The BMI is also used a general guideline to
assess your longevity and general health.
However, the BMI does have its limitations.
It may overestimate the body fat level of
people who are muscular or athletic and
underestimate the level of people who are
older or who have lost muscle mass.
To find out your BMI, simply find your
height and your weight and your BMI will be
calculated.
